Nearby is Bark Lake which is 6 kms away and Cross Lake which is 4 kms away.
Free to use, 50 Kilometre hiking trail network located 17 minutes away by car, taking you to some beautful lookout over looking Bear Lake and Bark lake. More information and maps can be found at https://slbmtrails.org/

The house is very close to OFSC snowmobile trail 173 and 175. We are in district 2 and 6 trail maps.

Hiking, ATV'ing, dirt biking and other activites can be done on these trails.
Difficulty levels range from beginner to extreme!
There are more trails that are not marked on the map and a trail pass is not required.
Dog sledding, horseback riding, white water rafting are few activities that can done found in the nearby area.
If you've forgotten anything, the closest convenience store is just 12 minutes away in Madawaska. Corner of Hwy 60 and Hwy 523. Barry's Bay is 45 minutes NW and Bancroft is 45 minutes NE.
